How to measure your bust

How to measure your bust

It is estimated over 80% of woman are wearing the wrong bra size, which is the last thing that you want on your wedding day.

Finding the right bridal bra size can make such a huge difference to your shape and of course, your confidence!

How to measure your bra size:

Measurements should be made directly over your skin, not over clothing.

1. First measure around your body directly under the bust, this will give you the ‘Under Bust’ measurement.
2. Measure around your body over the fullest part of your bust this will give you the ‘Over Bust’ measurement.
3. Refer to our chart below, your bra size can be found where the two measurements intersect.

This bra size guide should help you to generally determine the right bra size and is fairly accurate.

Bra fitting tips

1. The underband of your bridal bra should fit comfortably in the middle of your back and rise neither up nor down.
2. The underwire should not under any circumstances dig into your breast tissue and should fit snugly under the arm.
3. The underwire should in fact lay flat against your breastbone.
4. Your bust should not spill over the top of the cup. If it does you are wearing the incorrect cup size.
